Football career

He carried out his football career as a midfielder until the age of 28 when he was forced to retire due to a knee injury. However, he had the opportunity to play his first game in the Spanish Premier League wearing the colours of Elche CF on the 19-01-1975 in a match against Hercules CF with a 0-1 result. His Team Manager that day was Nestor Rossi.
